Professor Gunter Schubert visits SIS

From September 16 to 25, 2023, Gunter Schubert, Professor of Greater China Studies at the University of Tübingen, paid a visit to SIS. On the morning of September 22, Professor Schubert had an exchange with SIS on further cooperation.

During the discussion, both sides emphasized the importance of Sino-European and Sino-German dialogue and exchanges, particularly people-to-people exchanges, under the current international environment. Institutions and scholars engaged in the study of political science and international issues should make greater efforts to this end.

During his visit to SIS, Professor Schubert participated in a number of academic activities and delivered two public lectures entitled "Strategic Autonomy and China-US-European Relations" and "How Western Scholars Understand Chinese Policymaking in the New Era", which were well received by the participating faculty memmbers and students.
