Delegation of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences Visits SIS

On the afternoon of September 14, the delegation of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences led by professor Babaev Kirill Vladimirovich visited RUC. Vice president Du Peng met with the delegation. Both sides promised to commit themselves to strengthening academic exchanges and promoting educational interactions between China and Russia.

Later the delegation visited SIS. Professor Yang Guangbin, the dean of SIS extended his welcome to the delegation. Professor Li Chen, the deputy dean of SIS gave a brief introduction to SIS in the aspects of its history, discipline development, teaching, research and international exchanges. professor Babaev also shared with SIS about the research achievements made by the Russian Academy of Sciences. Both sides attached great importance to the communications with each other and expressed their wishes for further cooperation in mutually interested fields.
