On October 24, 2023, Professor Joseph Nye, Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor and former Dean of the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Governance, visited SIS. He held a seminar with RUC faculty members and students centred on China-US relations that lasted 2 hours. More than 20 professors and experts from School of International Studies, Gaoling School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Law, School of Marxisms and China’s World Affairs Magazine as well as students of different majors joined the exchange. The seminar was hosted by professor Li Chen, the deputy dean of SIS.

From September 16 to 25, 2023, Gunter Schubert, Professor of Greater China Studies at the University of Tübingen, paid a visit to SIS. On the morning of September 22, Professor Schubert had an exchange with SIS on further cooperation.

On the afternoon of Sep 14, the delegation of the Institute of China and Contemporary Asia of the Russian Academy of Sciences led by professor Babaev Kirill Vladimirovich visited RUC. Vice president Du Peng met with the delegation. Both sides promised to commit themselves to strengthening academic exchanges and promoting educational interactions between China and Russia.
